The Royal Life Saving Bronze Medallion Re-Accreditation course is for participants that hold a current Royal Life Saving Bronze Medallion Award and are renewing before the expiry date.
 
Pre-requisite: Must hold a current Royal Life Saving Bronze Medallion Award
Minimum age: 14 years
Course Length: 11 hours
Units of Competency: Participants are issued with a re-accreditation of current units of competency
Re-Accreditation: 12 months
Level of English: A reasonable level of English is required to be able to complete this course successfully

The course aims to develop the level of knowledge, judgement, technique and physical ability required to carry out safe water rescues.

The Royal Life Saving Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting will provide you with skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. The unit applies to educators and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.

The Royal Life Saving Provide First Aid Award provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, include community and workplace settings. The course aims to establish competence in the required skills and knowledge, judgement and physical abilities required to provide a first aid response to a casualty.

Hydrotherapy Rescue Award

HYDRO RESCUE

The RLSS Hydrotherapy Rescue Award is recognised as the minimum standard for a qualified physiotherapist.

This course will enhance he knowledge and skills to develop the awareness of specific rescue equipment‚ level of judgement‚ technique and physical ability required to safely carry out water rescues in a hydrotherapy venue.
 
The Hydrotherapy Rescue Award offers a certificate of attendance which will outline the theoretical and practical skills demonstrated for water rescue skills.

Candidates need to successfully complete the practical components under the award conditions in order to achieve a Certificate of attendance in Hydrotherapy Rescue.

Oxygen Equipment Resuscitation SOA

The Royal Life Saving Administer Oxygen in an Emergency Situation Award provides the minimum requirement for those persons wishing to provide use of oxygen equipment. The course aims to establish competence in the required knowledge and skills for public safety workers who attend incidents where the use of oxygen in either lifesaving or on-going management of a casualty is appropriate.

The Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Award provides the minimum requirements for those persons wishing to provide supervision and integrated rescue responses in an aquatic environment. The candidate must demonstrate advanced water rescue techniques working alone and as a team member.
